Christ Church Parish is a vibrant and growing faith community with exciting opportunities for serving others in our community and for growing in spirituality.
Summer Weekend & Weekday Worship
Our summer schedule runs through the last Sunday in August.
Saturdays, 5:00 pm
This is an informal service of Holy Eucharist that uses contemporary language. The service is shorter than a typical Sunday service and there is no music. There's plenty of time left for dinner and an evening out. Kids and casual attire are welcome.
Sundays, 9:00 am
Our 9:00 service of Eucharist is also contemporary, with music and hymns. Please know that kids of all ages are always welcome in church - we have coloring books, puppets and quiet toys in the church narthex (lobby) for their entertainment. Casual attire is welcome. We gather after the service for refreshments on the lawn, weather permitting.
Wednesday: Holy Eucharist at 7 pm.
This is a contemporary service and includes healing prayer for those who wish to receive it.
We come together for all kinds of things--worship, serving in our neighborhood, learning, fun, even toting pipe organ parts.
Parishioners Tim McClung and Sandy Watts carry pipes and parts as we built our new pipe organ.
Come and explore the interior life with us -- and then, well fortified -- go into the world with God's good news to love and to serve.
We're glad you visited - please come back often. More details about our Schedule of Services can be found on the Worship Services page.

Food Pantry Sundays - Helping the Redding Food Pantry
Our children collect donations for the Redding Social Services Food Pantry once a year--this year is is on September 20, 2015. They then load all donations into the Star Ship Enterprising, the Honda van which belongs to our our Director of Children's Ministries, via the Annual Bag Brigade. You can help by bringing in donations for the food pantry -- they always need pasta, cereal, peanut butter, tuna, and paper products. We collect and deliver donations year-round. And a few of our folks also work at the St. Thomas Food Pantry in Bethel as well. Thank you!
